100 New Businesses

We had a great time hosting a special ribbon cutting and announcement to celebrate the 100th new business to open downtown since the Majestic Fire. Congratulations to Randy Womack and Daron Praetzel and the whole Vault crew on the opening of an incredible new restaurant. This event was the lead story for both the KATV and THV nightly news. The Ouachita Avenue Revolution continues! Richard McGrew and Co. have purchased the former Johnson’s Cleaners building at 324 Ouachita Avenue. They plan to use one of the retail spaces and are seeking tenants or creative business partnerships interested in the other 1200 sq ft space.



Beer & BBQ

Spacity Smokehouse has joined arms with Craft Beer Cellar to bring you urban style BBQ with a twist of Carolina flavor. Whether a casual drinker or a beer connoisseur you will find yourself in the middle of a beer & wine vault at the Craft Beer Cellar joined by Chef Chris’ delicious and authentic locally crafted tacos, sandwiches, salads, and highlighted smoke meats. Food service begins June 1st at noon. 



Movies at the Market returns every Thursday night in June this summer! The movies have been announced: Grease; A Land Before Time; Leap; Despicable Me 3.

Art Springs

The Arts & The Park festival culminates this weekend with Art Springs, a free two-day outdoor juried art festival and showcase at Hill Wheatley Plaza bursting with Arkansas artists and artisans, musical performances, poets, children’s art activities, and the second annual Sidewalk Chalk Walk.
