Get your costumes ready and dig your candy buckets out of storage because it’s almost that time again! I’m talking about Hot Springs’ newest Halloween tradition – Glow on the Row, of course!
Glow on the Row Trick-or-Treating & Harvest Festival is a free event hosted by Fat Bottomed Girls Cupcake Shoppe and takes place along Bathhouse Row and the Exchange Street Event Plaza in Historic Downtown Hot Springs on October 31st from 4pm-9pm.
The event is a fun chance for the whole family to don their favorite costumes and make their way down Central Avenue, stopping at Hot Springs’ “spooktacular” downtown boutiques and shops for the ultimate night of community, trick-or-treating and family fun. Even older kids won’t be able to resist being a part of the good times and all are invited to trick-or-treat. 3000lbs of candy and 18,000 glow sticks will be passed out to participants during the event plus you won’t want to miss seeing Downtown light up with glowing neon colors, crazy costumes, music, and laughter!
The fun doesn’t stop with trick-or-treating though! Head to the Glow on the Row Harvest Festival at the Event Plaza on the first level of the Exchange Street Parking Garage for a city-wide celebration of the sweetest holiday of the year. The whole family can get decked out with glow sticks, pick up some free mini-toys, and grab a delectable mini-cupcake from Fat Bottom Girls Cupcake Shoppe, of course. There will be live music, games, a costume contest, food trucks and even more treats at the festival! This is a great event for all ages and a wonderful way to celebrate fall traditions new and old!
Note that Exchange Street will be closed during the event, so make sure you have a plan for parking elsewhere and be sure to observe all traffic and cross-walk signs and signals when traveling the area. To stay in the loop about this great Hot Springs even, visit the facebook event page.
See you gals, guys, and ghouls on the 31st!
